2 in 3 British Drivers Lack Road Confidence

New research reveals that British drivers suffer from a lack of road confidence, with only one in three drivers rating themselves better than the average motorist.

As you might expect, 43 per cent of men believe they are better than the average driver compared to just 28 per cent of women.

But, the study also revealed that even those men who have more confidence behind the wheel when asked, would be against the idea of having their driving ability monitored for purpose of determining their car insurance policy.

Mintel carried out the research.
