With the outbreak of World War One, their plans took a bit of a backseat. As soon as the war ended, the business rose again before being driven into the ground again by 1924.
Thankfully, the Aston Martin rose from the ashes, with a new buyer bringing the legendary manufacturer back to life.
The quintessentially British luxury car company has changed hands many times over the decades since then. However, one thing’s stayed the same: the brand is a symbol of class.
Aston Martin’s image of superiority was only further cemented as it has appeared as James Bond’s car of choice more than any other. We count nine times!

One of our all-time favourites though is the Aston Martin One-77. Only 77 of these (surprisingly) were ever made between 2009 and 2012.
